Acess Windows Drive on Ubuntu

Suppose i want to access the software drive as shown above in ubuntu. For that 

 

1- Open Terminal using ctrl+alt+t
2- Type cd  /media then press enter.
3- Then type cd  username/drivename. for example in my case it is cd  innovative/Softwares.
4-You can now type ls  to view files in that drive. see the screen shots for better understanding.

Please note that if you have dual boot Windows 8 or higher and Ubuntu then remember that before using above method .Your windows must be in non hibernation mode. When you restart your PC windows it is in non - Hibernation mode. if you simply shutdown windows then it always remain in hibernation.

Pre-DAC FAQs??

1- Should i join Pre-DAC ?
Go to the cdac.in and check the syllabus, if you can Prepare the syllabus For C-CAT given in that then you can avoid taking tutions form any institute , but if you take you have better chance to choose your dream place and center. Also you are more aware about the exam pattern level of exam , which center are good for which course, and an slight overview of basic idea of how cdac training goes on, even you get a chance to meet seniors they can share there experience and guide go further.

2-From where i should plan to do Pre-DAC?
From my view http://www.sunbeaminfo.com/ ,market yard,gultekdi, pune is best for taking Pre-DAC coaching , they have expert faculties , but note that they will cover the syllabus very fast , from my view you should have done C earlier ,because the c module is for about 10 days only . as i was new to C and from ECE backgroud i was having problem in understating, how ever the teachers will taught you from root but i was unable to grab at that speed. so its better to have basic C knowledge. Avoid joining the part time session for Pre-DAC in sunbeam , i was in that module 1 faculty was not good in that module.

3-Duration and Fess for Pre-DAC?
Duration depends on the institute providing coaching to you , in sunbeam i had done an 2 months course . the fees for Pre-DAC was 11000Rs . That is much but if you can afford i will suggest you to join it. once you pay the fees sunbeam will mail you near by PG List via mail . you can contact them and you can also book room at phones but i advice you to go there. Book a hotel for 1 day before going there and search best room for 1 day and then join any PG.

4-What is the Food and Its cost??
Food near sunbeam is good , there is an samarth snack center near sunbeam that provide good quality snacks. i recommend you have an try there. note most of the MESS do not provide breakfast there and also on sundays most MESS are closed. choose accoding to that. It cost around 50Rs for one time ,on monthly bases the charges vary from 2400Rs to 2800Rs , i recommend you join any mess instead of taking food at hotels or restaurant. if you need a change you can go to hotel fluora's mini restro during Lunch and Dinner its not the best but it is good.

Can I Install OS (or make Bootable on) a password featured Hard Disk

I am trying to install multiple OS on a single Hard Drive since i met Dr. Gokhale , But failed in two experiments , i want to share some information it may help you .

1- I had made Bootable my san disk ultra 3.0 Pendrive via Wintobootic. Software, with WIN 7 ISO.

2- Then try to install on my password Featured WD My Passport Hard Disk . Even i have unlocked it even then also i was unable to install Win 7 on it. The reason that i know is that my Hardisk 1st 1024 Mb has a autorun program installed by WD which restricts me installing me any Operating System.

also there is another link to install WIN 7 on USB via Portable Virtual Box. http://www.intowindows.com/install-windows-7-on-usb/

although i am trying for an another method that is by using GRUB. because that allows me to use full computer resources.

Paying 2nd Installment for C-DAC through BANK

Paying 2nd Installment for CDAC through bank Comprises of following steps:-

1- Click on NEFT for 2nd Installment and Take print of your details.

2- Go your respective bank (Take your passbook and check book you may require) and fill NEFT form as per details in print and your account details.

3- After this done ask for UTR number by the NEFT doing agent , or you may get UTR number by Updating your passbook.

4- Log in to cdac.in and Fill your NEFT details at the botom and and click on Submit

5- Wait for 48hrs for update and then check. for any queries regarding your payment you can contact your respective allocated center , for other queries post here i will try to answer you. you can also join my blog for further updates kapil0123.blogspot.in you can like my page at facebook My Journey.

Number of ways to Swap Numbers in Programs.....!

1.     Simple Method:-

By using temp. Let a = 10, b=20;

temp = a; //temp =10

a = b; // a=20

b = temp ; // b = 10

Earlier a = 10, b = 20;

Now    a = 20, b = 10;

2.     Using Addition and Subtraction:-

Let a = 10, b=20;

a = a + b à 10 + 20 = 30 // a = 30

b = a – b à 30 – 20 = 10 // b = 10

a = a – b à 30 – 10 = 20 // a = 20

Another Method
1. b = (a + b) - (a = b)
2. *b = (*a + *b) - (*a = *b)

3.     Using Multiplication and Division:-

Let a = 10, b=20;

a = a * b = 10 * 20 = 200 // a = 200

b = a / b = 200 / 10 = 20 // b = 20
a = a / b = 200 / 20 = 10 // a=10 

4.     Using Bitwise XOR:-

Let a = 2, b = 3;

a = a ^ b à 2 ^ 3 à 1 // a = 1, b = 3

b = a ^ b à 1 ^ 3 à 2 // a = 1, b = 2

a = a ^ b à 1 ^ 2 à 3 // a = 3, b = 2

Another way of writing
1. a^ = b^ = a^ = b
